Noom and a LONG walk

 A little over a week ago, I began a 2 week trial of Noom - a psychology based weight loss app. So far, while learning very little that is new to me, the app has made me think a little more about what I'm eating and when. I'm thinking more about how much water foods contain (caloric density) along with calories and fibre. I often forget how much I actually already know about nutrition and I simply need to apply that knowledge. It has been a slow start, but I know that by changing my eating habits I will succeed. I believe in myself and it is time for a change. I must now begin to move my body on a more regular basis, also a challenging task for me but again, I believe in me! Along with signing up for Noom, I have registered to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society by participating, with Angel, in their August 50 km dog walk! Throughout the month of August, Angel and I will walk a total of 50 km. I have set a goal of $500.00 and will work toward encouraging people to donat...
