Ugh! For more than 12 months, Hugh has been applying to every job for which he is qualified and physically able to do. Hundreds of applications, several interviews, and NOTHING!!! Even Winners claims that they have nothing for which he is qualified. RIDICULOUS! I am becoming more and more frustrated (I can't even fathom how he must be feeling) and angrier and angrier. As if there is nothing in this city for which he is qualified! He has only ever worked retail and is amazing at it! He loves customer service! I have absolutely no doubt that most of it is quite simply age discrimination. I have no idea how to prove it, but it is the only thing that makes any sense. The other thing which is becoming increasingly frustrating is hearing that everyone is hiring but no one wants to work!!! REALLY???  REALLY?!?!?! Well now, that was a week! My students were crazy, my teaching partner suddenly had to take couple of days off, what I thought were allergies turned out to be my annual Springtime Head cold, and, to top it off, my childhood neighbour was arrested for possessing and accessing child p*&^! I mean, What the Actual F! I am used to my students being crazy in the springtime, but this past week was a whole new ball game. These kids are flat out crazy! They don't seem capable to not talking, they don't seem phased by any sort of consequence, and rewards don't really work either! It's absolutely insane. Both my teaching partner and myself are at our wits end.  As stated in the first paragraph, my teaching partner suddenly had to take a couple of days off because her daughter's car broke down on the way home from university.
